Rajesh Veeraraghavan

Rajesh Veeraraghavan is an associate professor in the Science, Technology and International Affairs Program (STIA) at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, affiliated with the Center for Digital Ethics and the Massive Data Institute (MDI). Trained as a computer scientist and a sociologist, he studies how digital technologies shape governance, accountability, and social change. He is the author of Patching Development: Information Politics and Social Change in India, an ethnography of one of the world’s largest welfare programs.
