Regina LaBelle

Regina LaBelle is a lawyer, distinguished scholar and director of the Center on Addiction Policy at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown Law. She is founder of the Addiction Policy and Practice Program at Georgetown University’s School of Health, which is an interdisciplinary graduate program to equip students with expertise in both policymaking and the science of addiction. Her work identifies policies to reduce overdose and leverage legal frameworks to enhance access to quality addiction treatment and recovery services. She served both the Obama and the Biden Administrations, serving in the White House Office of National Drug Control and Policy (ONDCP) as chief of staff and acting director.
