Pete Epanchin is a climate adaptation professional and an ecologist. He worked on climate change at USAID for 12 years, most recently serving as Climate Adaptation Team lead and acting chief of the Resilient Communities and Systems Division, Center for Resilience in the Bureau for Resilience Environment and Food Security. Pete had broad collaborations across USAID, working to advance equitable and ambitious action to confront and adapt to the climate crisis. He took the Fork in the Road in February of 2025.
