F. Tazeena Husain

F. Tazeena Husain is a professor of speech and hearing science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.She has a PhD from Boston University in the field of cognitive and computational neuroscience. She worked at National Institutes for Health before joining the University of Illinois. Her research focuses on understanding the neural bases of common hearing disorders such as tinnitus and hearing loss. Both authors are Public Voices Fellows with The OpEd Project.
